Installing GUTT-LINER

The existing gutter must be cleaned thoroughly checking that there are no sharp protrusions.  Place kit at convenient end of gutter, pull liner out and fold in half to sit in gutter, tuck under roof overhang or wall-flashing , then smooth the base flat so there are no wrinkles,( pull liner tight to remove wrinkles), when liner is centred corerctly simply fold down side and adhesive is applied to the clean sections of gutter, (avoid the excessively rusty areas as adhesive wont bond to scaly rust, wide box gutters may need 20mm support strapping to stabilise liner) ,the edges are tucked under roof overhang and flashings then screwed every 335mm as required.

GUTTSA gutter re-lining rules:

  1. Adheres to existing gutter.
  2. No joins in liner.
  3. No corners in gutter.

In some cases there is a choice of installing a extra stop-end or vertical down-pipe to eliminate corner eg. box gutter has corner, install stop-end at corner junction to separate gutters and reline both individually providing there is individual downpipes. If no downpipe is present in seperated section then install one.
